Where to find the ‘Register’ feature
Click on the left-hand menu, the ‘Point of sale’ tab
Click on the ‘Register’ sub-menu item
You are now able to use the point of sale register tool
Creating your first sale
Once you are on the register page, you can start adding products to your sale:
You can ‘scan’ a barcode and Zulu will automatically add the product to the order in the right hand summary box or in the itemized product list
There are two modes for using the Register:
Itemisation Mode - standard invoice-like layout
Register Mode - visual buttons you can click on
Once you have added one or more products to your sale, you can now finalize the sale
You can select a ‘Contact’ on the far right hand side of the register page, this will tie the sale to a customer for future reference - if you do not select a customer, then the order goes through as ‘Cash Customer’
Click ‘Complete’ to finalize the sale payment
A new window will appear showing the balance of the sale due:
You can use multiple payment options in a single transaction
You can click the ‘eraser’ icon to clear payments added
Once the ‘Balance Due’ is $0.00, you can finalize the order
Click ‘Complete’
