How to configure an Epson ePOS enabled printer

  1. Connect the printer to power and wifi adapter 

  2. Let the printer do it’s selfcheck

  3. After the printer finishes it’s selfcheck, the printer will automatically print an IP address 

  4. Open up a browser 

  5. Type the IP address to the address bar of your browser 

  1. Click proceed if you have this warning 

  1. And login , the default user name is epson , and the default password is epson

If the password above does not work, enter the serial number as the password (found on the base of the unit)



  1. Go to the “ePOs-Print “ tab on the left side of the screen



  1. In this menu you can change the printer name and you can enable ePOS-Print

  • version: Is the version number of your printer operating system

  • ePOS-Print: This is the option where you want to enable ePOS-Print 

  • Device ID: This field is to rename your printer to something else

Notetry to remember the name of your printer because this is important when you try to set up your printer for the first time.


  1. After you finish configuring your printer click send
