How to enable 'trade account' for a contact?

This feature is used to denote a contact who is on a 'trade' account. (Note: This is separate to the trade pricing / wholesale pricing features)



1. Go to the 'Contacts' tab and select 'All Contacts'


2. Click the 'edit' button alongside the contact you wish to enable


3. Scroll down the page, until you find the panel 'Billing Setup'


4. Check the 'Trade Account' checkbox

5. Press 'Save'


Note: The contact can now access features like being able to checkout on 'account' via the website (if enabled).


Warning: If contacts are using the website feature for ordering on 'trade account', you must also ensure they have 'website access' setup on the same page.
